Annual General Meeting Review

 
On January 13, the Bombers held the annual general meeting (AGM) to discuss club business. The event was well attended given the previous night’s bad weather and much was discussed. Team finances, the upcoming spring schedule and events for both men and women’s sides, as well as an alumni update were discussed. The meeting was concluded with the election of officers. Brian Dix, a face from the past, has returned to his former role as President, allowing Dan Ward to resume his role as Administrative Vice President for life. With John Wolf accepting the role as head of the MRFU disciplinary committee and Mari Therrien moving from the St. Louis area, a new Vice President of Fundraising was needed with Erin Herwig answering the bell. With previous professional experience in this arena, big things are expected. Finally, Scott Lay and Scott Giljum will continue on in their roles of Treasurer and Secretary respectively.
