St. Louis Bombers "Old Boys"
vs. Sunday Morning RFC "Old Boys"

Saturday, April 03, 2004

On a rare beautiful day with sunny skies and a warm breeze the Bomber Old Boys shut out Sunday Morning RFC a bunch too three Saturday at the annual St. Louis Ruggerfest. In a great turnout, the Bombers had four Old Boys take the field that were 60+ years old. Vic Miller, "Big" Earl Langhorst, Tom Holmes, and Jim Dunphy drew a lot of applause from the crowd.

Others spotted trying to find their toes during pre-game stretches were; Bob Jones, Chris Vogelsang, Lenny Gall, Mark Sasser, Kenny Brigden, Jim Boggeman, Dan Ward, Terry Swap, Randy Carder, James Roarke, Chris Naunheim, Ron Laszewski, Rene Monette, Gregg Ott, Tom Pierce, and others. Sterling Hayden, John Kyle, "Sugar Bear" Skiljan, Blade Surgener, Tom Scott, Jeff Title and David McCreery protected the beer all day. Overall it was a great weekend for the Bombers winning the Old Boys game, Ruggerfest and the Cup match versus KU. Thanks to everyone!
