Leonard Wood 29-12 gathering a much needed bonus point victory on the road. Featuring a young side, the Bombers faced a stiff breeze in the first half but managed to get on the board with an early penalty kick. Keeping the ball in hand and the passing lanes tight, the Bombers were able to get pound in a converted try at the 25 minute mark. Just before the half, Ft. Leonard Wood capitalized on some good defensive pressure to notch a try of their own. Halftime 10-5 in favor of the Bombers.
With the wind at their backs, Bomber flyhalf Zach Giljum took control of the
game by repeatedly pinning his opposition deep in their end. The Bombers
would use this territorial advantage to run in three second half tries to
only one by Ft. Leonard Wood securing the bonus point victory.
