The USA Rugby Super League (RSL), the highest level of rugby competition on American soil, announces it welcomes the St. Louis Bombers to the league beginning in the 2006 season. "The skill, intensity and excitement St. Louis brings to the RSL is welcomed by the entire league and its growing fan base," said RSL President Keith Engelbrecht. "The league is eager to compete with its new partner and is thrilled to expand its presence in the Mid-West." The Super League fields 16 teams in 14 of America's top markets.

Eager to face RSL competition, St. Louis Bombers Team President Dan Ward stated, "The Bombers embrace this challenge as we have with past challenges - with total commitment. The leadership of our club is united in the belief that as a club we must constantly move forward. In joining the RSL, the Bombers look forward to continuing old rivalries and developing new ones."
