Return to Play Starts Today!

Starting today, June 15th, 2020, St. Louis County has reopened adult sports at a limited capacity and just in time for the first rugby practice of the season starting Tuesday June 16th.

While the state of Missouri has lifted all restrictions we still have to abide by both St. Louis County and USA Rugby guidelines to host an official practice session.

The St. Louis Bombers have setup a web page https://www.stlouisbombers.com/covid-19/ with all the regulations and guidelines both players and staff must follow if they wish to join a practice session.

Key points:

  • All players must read the guidelines and understand the risk involved
  • Everyone will have their temperature check before entering practice
  • Social Distancing of 6ft or more
  • Everyone must self-report and be symptom free for at least 14-days

The club will begin to phase into practices this week with some light training that will be in accordance with the guidelines and conditions imposedPractice is planned for this Tuesday 16th June, 6:30pm at Steger Middle School.
Please note that coaches and administrators are required to take the COVID awareness and player welfare course… and it has also been recommended that all players also take this course to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. For anyone planning to return to practice this week, please take the quick course.
